This is a top floor apartment in a small, quaint residence. It is adjacent to No 9 that we also rent. There is no lift in the building but you only have three very small set of stairs to climb to reach the apartment. Being on the top floor means it has vaulted ceilings and innovative use of space. The reason why it sells so well is because it is cosy and warm, full of character and it is well equipped for six skiers. It is one of those places with knick knacks everywhere making it feel so homely and familiar unlike many sterile rental properties available in Val d’Isere.
Pas de Bouquetin is a small residence located on the main street. It has a bus stop just outside and the town centre is an easy 8 minutes walk away.
The kitchen was fully renovated last summer with granite counter tops and new flooring. It is fully equipped with a proper size oven (it says property size oven!), 4 ring electric hob, large fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. A high breakfast bar overlooks the sitting room and a washing machine is accessed from the sitting room side.
The wood burning stove sits between the living area and kitchen with the sitting room housing a leather sofa and 2 bucket, leather chairs. A wall mounted flat screen TV with French satellite (you can get English news channels) is located in this area.
The dining table is opposite on the far side of the property. Bench seating either side and chairs at each end allow ample seating for 6-8 people.

This is compact and houses a double bed, two bedside tables and a clothes rail. It is worth noting this area is not enclosed so you can see down to the dining table when sitting on the end of the bed. There is no other accommodation at the top of the stairs. The other bedrooms are off the hallway that you can see in the picture.
The first bedroom on the right of the hallway can be set up either as a twin = single bed with a pull out underneath that pops up to sit next to the single. There is a little room in the bedroom for movement if you adopt this layout. Alternatively you can have the one single bed plus use of another single within the same room but at the top of a small staircase. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room with WC.
There is a 2nd separate WC in the hall plus a separate bathroom with bath, glass panel, shower attachment and basin. This bathroom was totally renovated summer 2011 and now offers a contemporary marble sink with new tiling, glass panel and bath with a modern towel rail and new flooring.
The 3rd sleeping area has been modified and is now a compact double bedroom with a wooden framed built in set up. The picture with the brown velvet bed cover is this bedroom. As you can see the bed is built-in against the window giving access one side only. It is a standard sized double (140). There is one wardrobe with shelves in this room for storage.
