61st CRITÉRIUM DE LA PREMIÈRE NEIGE

DECEMBER 9-18, 2016

From December 9 to 18 the world’s best skiers return once again to the challenging pistes of Val d’Isère for the annual Critérium de la Première Neige, the stage of the Alpine Skiing World Cup, which celebrates its 50th birthday this year. The men start the ball rolling from December 9 to 11 and the women’s races follow from December 15 to 18. Accreditation is now open – join us in Val d’Isère in less than two months time.

17.15: Draw for start numbers for the Giant Slalom

18.30: Sinclair on stage in the Très Très Privé concert sponsored by RTL2 in the Centre Aquasportif

Saturday, December 10

9.30: First run of the Giant Slalom

12.30: Second run for the top 30 competitors

17.15: Prize-giving and the draw for the slalom

19.30: 4th Gala Evening at the Centre Aquasportif for key figures in the French ski industry

Sunday, December 11

9.30: First run of the Men’s Slalom

12.30: Second run of the Men’s Slalom, followed by prize-giving in the finish area

Women’s World Cup Races on the OK (Oreiller-Killy) course at La Daille
