LOCATION

Located in the old village of La Daille, the chalet enjoys a highly convenient position for slope access. A short walk across the road takes you to either the gondola or the Funival, both providing fast access to the Bellevarde sector.

Lift queues in La Daille are typically much shorter than in the main resort, where skiers often converge on the Solaise and Bellevarde Express lifts. For this reason alone, La Daille is well worth considering for your holiday accommodation.

We always choose to start and finish our ski days in La Daille (we drive), as the Bellevarde sector offers some of the best skiing in Val d’Isère, with easy access to Tignes. The Funival is one of the fastest and most efficient lift systems in the resort. At the end of the day, bus queues back to town can be long — while you’re relaxing in front of the fire, others may still be waiting to get home.

La Daille also offers excellent local amenities including a pharmacy, tabac, bakery, supermarket and other shops, meaning you don’t need to travel into town for essentials.

A regular bus service operates throughout the day, from early morning until 2am, with a bus stop located just across the road from the chalet. With everything so close at hand, La Daille is a very desirable place to stay.

DESCRIPTION

This private chalet in La Daille is exceptionally quiet and cosy, offering a real sense of seclusion. Once inside, it’s easy to forget the outside world entirely.

Access is via a coded garage door, which serves as the main entrance. From here, guests enter directly into the ski room, equipped with ample ski racks and boot warmers. An internal door leads into the hallway, which provides generous space for coats, hats and gloves.

Also on this level is a compact gym fitted with cardio and weight-training equipment, alongside a steam room — ideal for relaxing tired muscles after a day on the slopes. A conveniently located shower room serves both the gym and steam room.

This floor also features three twin or double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom including a WC.

FIRST FLOOR

The first floor is home to the spacious living area, furnished with large, comfortable sofas and centred around a roaring log fire. This generous space is ideal for relaxing and socialising as a group. The dining area sits at one end of the room, adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen.

For guests who enjoy watching television, the chalet includes a separate TV room, open-plan to the main living area, with English satellite channels for sports, news and films.

A terrace, ideal for BBQs or sunny lunches later in the season, is accessed from the living and TV rooms.

Bedroom four is also located on this floor and features an en-suite bathroom with bath, double basins, WC and bidet.

SECOND FLOOR

The second floor is dedicated to the impressive master suite, which features an open fireplace, a large en-suite bathroom with bath, double basins and separate shower, and two small decorative balconies at either end of the bedroom. A separate WC for the master suite is located just outside the bedroom door within the private hallway.

Also on this floor is bedroom five, with an en-suite bathroom (shower and basin), a separate WC within the room, and ample storage.
